Toys `R` Us Selects Sticker Stations

October 29, 1997

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ via Individual Inc. -- American Photo Booths Incorporated (APBI), exclusive U.S. patent holder for photo sticker machines, announced today that it has signed a contract with Toys 'R' Us to install more than 650 of its custom themed Sticker Station(TM) kiosks in Toys 'R' Us stores nationwide. The machines are expected to be in place for the holiday season, when shoppers will see for the first time the whimsical yet practical stickers, which can be affixed to cards, packages or preserved in special collector albums.

Sticker Stations are APBI's American made, high quality, interactive, photo sticker machines that produce interactive multiple image, peel-off photo stickers integrating a user's image with a variety of full-color backgrounds. Already in such diverse locations as Club Disney in California, the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, and New York City's World Trade Center, chain retail outlets are the next logical step for a product that trendspotters predict will be the next craze to sweep the country.

Toys 'R' Us launched an immediate roll-out of the 650 Sticker Station kiosks nationwide following the successful pilot of the machines in three of its New York and Washington, D.C. area stores. "We are very pleased to be affiliated with Toys 'R' Us, a giant in children's entertainment," said Samuel S. Attenberg, President and CEO of APBI. "We look forward to partnering with them and sharing in the success of the hottest trend of the 90's."
