NetShift software is Year 2000-compliant to the DISC PD2000-1 standard as defined by the
British Standards Institution. According to the standard, this means that:
Rule 1: No value for current date will cause any interruption in operation
Rule 2: Date-based functionality must behave consistently for dates prior to, during and
after Year 2000
Rule 3: In all interfaces and data storage, the century in any date must be specified
either explicitly or by unambiguous algorithms or inferencing rules
Rule 4: Year 2000 must be recognised as a leap year
In practice this will ensure that the performance and functionality of NetShift software
will not be affected by dates prior to, during and after the Year 2000.
However NetShift depends on browser components and other software produced by other
companies. NetShift Software Ltd has no control over these items and cannot make any
claims for these products. For more information please contact [email protected]
