MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 3, l998--Peter Lytle, CEO of U-Ship, Inc. (Nasdaq: USHP - news) has named Kenneth D. Zigrino Vice President of Administration and General Counsel. According to Lytle, this position will be critical to U-Ship as the company implements its acquisitions strategy. Zigrino had been a consultant to U-Ship until this time. Recently, Zigrino was Corporate Counsel for Primo Piatto, Inc. in conjunction with its buy-out of the Borden Food Company's Creamette pasta facilities in the Twin Cities. Zigrino brings broad corporate law experience to his position as General Counsel for U-Ship. Until l990, he was a corporate attorney with two Minneapolis law firms, first with Robbins, Zelle, Larson & Kaplan and later with Winthrop & Weinstine. Since entering private practice, Zigrino's concentration has been in the area of general corporate and securities laws.
