FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 12, 1999--Elo TouchSystems, Inc., global leader in touch technology, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raychem (NYSE:RYC), today announces a new strategic marketing alliance with MontegoNet Solutions, a leader in flat-panel interactive kiosks. Under the terms of Elo's Kiosk Partner Program, both companies will work together to promote MontegoNet Solutions' line of turnkey interactive kiosks featuring Elo's touchmonitors with IntelliTouch surface wave touch technology. MontegoNet is the latest kiosk solution provider to join Elo's Kiosk Partner Program, which matches the company's 28 years of touch technology experience with the expertise of kiosk design, integration and manufacturing companies.
"MontegoNet Solutions is pleased to be working with Elo TouchSystems," said Thomas Smith, MontegoNet Solutions President/Co-Founder. "We've been using Elo touchscreens for years because they help assure the overall quality and low profile of our kiosks. MontegoNet Solutions believes that kiosks should be as sleek and eye-catching as the content on them, and Elo touchscreens help us to realize this vision. I expect this new alliance to provide benefits to both of our companies as well as to our kiosk customers."
The companies will jointly promote interactive solutions in retail store outlets, e-commerce, transportation, bank lobbies, movie theaters, convention and trade centers, hotel lobbies, colleges and universities, and corporate libraries using kiosks equipped with Elo touchmonitors. The companies also will conduct special joint marketing efforts, attend trade shows and collaborate on large-scale custom kiosk development programs.
"MontegoNet has developed an impressive list of clients by successfully creating kiosks with aesthetically pleasing, sleek, dynamic enclosure designs, while functionally providing users with quick, easy access to the Internet by only specifying our IntelliTouch touchscreens," says Annemarie Feely, market manager for Elo Touchsystems. "Elo is proud to have them in our Kiosk Partner Program."
