2. 1024x768 Example Graphics
With the global migration now over to 1024x768 resolution flat panel/touch displays, we now offer an example set of 1024 graphics for free download at: www.netshift.co.uk/styles.html
NetShift supports all six of the following resolutions:
640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024 & 1600x1200.
The standard NetShift shipment provides, in the 'Configurations' folder, the AltSetup.ini which will support any resolution using very basic grey graphics that are auto-created. For more customized version, graphics for the chosen resolution need to be created.

NetShift WebSite FAQ's section has just been upgraded with over forty items that our support team have found to be the most useful to NetShift evaluators and clients over the last three years.

4. Kiosk Third Party Software
Kiosk Dial Up Networking - what's the alternative??
In unattended kiosk environments Dial Up networking had proven to be NOT robust enough for continuous operation, simply because it was never designed to be a stand alone application. Kiosk down time or hangs can often be traced back to DUN. If you have set your business model to use DUN then we can suggest some useful DUN 'tips and tricks' or perhaps consider a better alternative.

This must be installed for AKA PBI or OSM versions with Windows 95 or 98 (not NT) to auto logon your kiosk, when using 'Client for Microsoft Networks' as the Primary Network Logon in the Network settings. TWEAK UI is not required if using standard 'Windows Logon'.
TWEAK UI also offers a number of other useful pieces of functionality for Win 95 & 98 that kiosk integrators and operators may find of benefit.

VNC Third Party Software
VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is, in essence, a remote display system which allows you to view a computing 'desktop' environment not only on the machine where it is running, but from anywhere on an intranet or the Internet and from a wide variety of machine architectures.
