(NCR) ATCOM/INFO Partners with NCR Corporation to Deliver Public Internet Kiosk Software

SAN DIEGO, Aug 23, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NCR Corp., a proven leader in self-service customer interaction solutions, has chosen ATCOM/INFO to join its Fusion+ Partner Program.

ATCOM's industry-leading software solutions for public Internet access complement NCR's powerful suite of self-service and Internet access terminals. The combination creates a robust, mature solution for Fortune 500 companies leading the way in telecommunications, transportation, retail and financial industries.

The partnership gives ATCOM/INFO valuable exposure to NCR's customer base through NCR's On-Line Partner Catalog and other partnership services from NCR. The companies have started a joint promotional campaign to NCR's customers, and will be promoting the partnership on ATCOM's Web site, www.atcominfo.com.

According to Scott Cowen, NCR's product manager responsible for kiosks: "ATCOM's field-proven software will be a tremendous complement to our line of point-of-sale and Internet access systems. For our customers, reliability is the key, and the combination of our hardware and ATCOM's software enables us to lead the industry in this regard."

"Everyone recognizes NCR's reputation for industry-leading point-of-sale and ATM (automatic teller machine) systems," said Jeffrey Barber, ATCOM/INFO's sales director kiosk and interactive terminal solutions. "To be chosen by them as a preferred provider of software for their systems is a tremendous endorsement of ATCOM/INFO's products. We are looking forward to working with NCR in bringing value to their Fortune 500 customers."

Under the partnership, ATCOM's secure, robust CyberShell Public Internet Terminal software will be integrated with NCR's Ci20, a public Internet access kiosk built to ATM standards of design and reliability. ATCOM's EPOINT Public Web Browser software will be integrated with the NCR 7401 Self-Service Terminal, an interactive touch screen terminal designed for use by customers in retail locations. Both systems will be fully integrated with ATCOM's industry-leading CyberTrax Remote Network Management Software System.
