It has been reported that the BT / Photo Me joint venture to introduce multimedia kiosks will be branded PhotoPlanet.

The provisional plan, as reported, is:
1. Trial of 10 kiosks starting in January 2000 and lasting two months.
2. Roll-out of 1000 kiosks by September 2000
3. Roll-out of 3000 kiosks by the end of 2001.

BT is reported to be hoping for a daily six hours of use for each booth.
