TouchVision Showcases MP3 Music on the 5-1/2 Week Alanis and Tori Tour

SEAL BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1999--TouchVision Interactive Systems will showcase the emerging and potentially revolutionary downloadable digital music technology on the 25-city Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos concert tour which began on Aug. 18 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. at the NCR Arena and concludes in Irvine, Calif. on Sept. 26.

A large outdoor exhibit tent is constructed at each venue to house four TouchVision interactive touchscreen kiosks and eight computer workstations. The showcase exhibit is sponsored by Alanis Morissette, Tori Amos, Best Buy, MP3.com, Hewlett-Packard, Altec Lansing, Diamond Multimedia and Creative Labs.

The interactive kiosks provide information about digital music technology and allow visitors to browse the Internet Web sites of Best Buy (www.bestbuy.com), MP3.com, and the Alanis and Tori concert tour (www.alanisandtori.com). Concert goers will also be able to select their favorite music off of the MP3.com Web site and play the song right there on the kiosk to demonstrate the CD-quality sound that can be achieved with the digital format.

The Hewlett-Packard workstations will demonstrate to concert goers how to purchase and download selections off of the Internet and play the music on the new portable players. Diamond Rio and Creative Lab's Nomad portable players will be featured in the exhibit for people to sample the listening experience offered by this new technology.

TouchVision provides end-to-end business solutions using the Internet, interactive displays and Internet-enabled touchscreen kiosks by integrating systems, publishing and distributing broadband media, creating e-commerce enterprises and providing outsourcing services for the retail, entertainment, tourism and healthcare markets.
