Michael Matour Promoted to Regional Manager of Retail Cash Management at MEI

Promotion underscores MEI�s increasing investment in marketing its payment systems for use in kiosks and other unattended point-of-sale systems

WEST CHESTER, PA � January 26, 2001 � MEI, the world�s leading supplier of high-performance electronic payment systems, has announced the promotion of Michael Matour of Landsdale, PA to Regional Manager of Retail Cash Management. In this position, Matour is responsible for managing retail industry sales activities in assigned accounts and areas of the U.S. and Canada. He will focus his efforts on developing new business, cultivating customer relationships, and developing market channels to maximize profitable sales growth for the Retail Cash Management division. This promotion underscores MEI�s increasing investment in marketing its payment systems to the retail industry for use in kiosks and other unattended point-of-sale systems.

Matour was promoted from his previous position of Industry Support Manager in the retail and transportation industries, where he managed technical support, integration testing, product launches, and customer training efforts, and supported sales efforts. He came to MEI from Ford Motor Company.
