ELO PROMOTES THE KIOSK INDUSTRY AND ITS LATEST PRODUCTS AT CEBIT 2001 IN HANNOVER, GERMANY

Elo TouchSystems, the global leader in touch technology and a unit of Tyco Electronics, unveiled its biggest stand ever at CeBIT 2001. The reason for the greater size? A large section devoted to some of its most important kiosk customers and a lot of great new product. Elo's booth is in Hall 9, Stand C70. Take the time to drop by and check out:

FUNWORLD
the world's largest manufacturer of touchscreen games and a recent entrant in the market for coin-drop internet kiosks

NEOPRODUCTS
one of the world's largest kiosk companies with projects in the Asia/Pacific and the UK and a particular focus on the government sector

CYBERTOTEMS
one of Europe's biggest with projects all over Europe, the US and South America in POI, POS, telecom and security

MAGIT
one of Eastern Europe's biggest with a focus on outdoor designs

VIDEO MODELING ACTION
an innovative kiosk design for in-store self-modeling of fashion products

PLG
one of Germany's biggest with a focus on kiosks for the financial and retail sectors and innovative designs for Panel PCs

JENTRO
a Munich-based Java and network software specialist providing Java-based interactive device middleware and general systems and network management

And, if that's not enough for you, Elo is of course taking the opportunity to show off lots of its latest products, including a whole new line of CRT touchmonitors from 15"-21" and significant additions to its LCD line including a new 20" model and new 15" products in rear mount, panel mount and chassis form factors. Of course, CeBIT would not be complete without yet another sneak peek at new touch technology breakthroughs from Elo. This year, Elo is showing low profile, extended resolution infrared touch that uses existing Elo drivers and is mechanically compatible with designs for its popular SecureTouch vandal-resistant surface wave touchscreens. Aimed at markets like outdoor kiosks, that demand the optical performance of pure glass screens, along with NEMA4/IP65 sealability and operation in rugged environments, the new Elo infrared line will be a sure hit!

The CeBIT show runs from March 22-28 in Hannover, Germany. And when you drop by Elo's booth, don't forget to register to win a free Elo Entuitive 1527L 15" LCD desktop touchmonitor with IntelliTouch, a $1,500 value!
