National Electronic Technologies Corp. (NET) launches Global VideoNET Information Services (GVIS™) which remotely monitors, tracks and accurately reports daily information from Global VideoNET™ public access Internet kiosks worldwide.
Rothesay, NB March 23, 2000 - National Electronic Technologies Corp. (CDN symbol: NATV.U) the leading manufacturer and software developer of public access Internet solutions today announce the release of their secure remote monitoring software platform known as Global VideoNET Information Services (GVIS™).
GVIS™ is proprietary software for public access Internet kiosks; point of sale terminals, e-commerce terminals or PC based devices that need the addition of remote monitoring technology. GVIS™ is designed exclusively by NET for use with the existing Global VideoNET™ public access Internet terminals. It can also be ported into many other strategic partners products and services requiring remote monitoring technology. GVIS™ allows terminal owners to track revenues accurately, monitor all usage data in minutes and seconds, track web browsing and report revenue from kiosks. It also allows the porting of industry standard advertising; monitors click throughs, impressions and provides ROI reports for publishers and advertisers. All data collected from the GVIS™ is stored in a client or in NET's data warehouse and is viewable by the client through the GVIS™ reporting application. NET's clients can track complete up to date data on their equipment from anywhere they can access a PC and the Internet.
