Netkey Enhances Western Sales Team with Experienced Software Professionals; Provenza and Barber Join Kiosk Industry Leader

Company Opens San Diego Regional Office to Target Western U.S., Latin American and Asian-Pacific Markets

SAN DIEGO -- April 5, 2001 -- Netkey, Inc., the leading provider of innovative and scalable software products and services for self-service devices including kiosks, Web-enabled ATMs and managed PCs, today announced that it has appointed Salvatore Provenza as Western region vice president of sales and Jeffrey Barber as Western region director of sales. The company also announced the opening of a San Diego regional office to target sales in the Western U.S., Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific Rim.

Provenza brings more than twenty years experience in U.S. and international sales to Netkey. He has previously held senior management positions with Microsoft, AT&T, NCR, Galileo International and CAIS Internet. Provenza's experience with Internet kiosks, software and network communications provides Netkey with a solid foundation for opening new markets and aggressively driving revenue in its target markets.

Prior to joining Netkey, Barber was sales director for CAIS Software Solutions where he was the top revenue producer for 1999 and 2000. He has significant experience in various aspects of the kiosk industry including product development, project management and partner relations. Barber was part of the founding management team of ATCOM/INFO, an early player in the kiosk market, which was acquired by CAIS.
