Lexitech and MicroTouch Announce Joint Marketing Alliance for Internet Kiosk Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO/BRANFORD, CT - April 12, 1999 - Lexitech(r) Inc., a leading developer of
Web-based software and applications, and MicroTouch Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: MTSI), the world
leader in touch-input solutions, today announced at KioskCom '99 an alliance to market each
other's products.

The agreement is the first in Lexitech's strategic partnerships with companies whose
complementary products will expand the international use and standardization of NetKey for
public-access applications.

As part of the agreement, Lexitech will recommend and jointly market MicroTouch's
KioskTouch monitors for its public kiosks.  In addition, MicroTouch and its Factura Kiosks
division will recommend and market Lexitech's NetKey software to its customers.  Under the
non-exclusive agreement, the companies will offer a variety of marketing activities
including trade shows, publicity and promotions aimed at the retail, healthcare,
government, and travel industries where public-access kiosks are rapidly growing in
popularity.
