Factura Corp. Selected by JetBlue Airways to Supply Self-Service Check-In Kiosks
Rochester, NY (May 22, 2000)- Factura Corp. of Rochester, NY, announced today that it has been selected to provide self-service check-in kiosks to JetBlue Airways. JetBlue is widely regarded for its innovative use of technology in making airline travel more civilized. The sleek kiosk enclosures will provide JetBlue a presence in airport concourses and lobby areas where travelers can quickly and comfortably check-in for flights and even purchase tickets.
After an exhaustive search, JetBlue selected Factura Corp. as their kiosk enclosure partner for this new initiative. " Factura really understands the computer based kiosk market and produces the highest quality kiosks available" stated Barrett Morgan, JetBlue Program Engineer. The kiosks will be computer based and consumers will interact with the kiosk by using a touch screen display. The kiosk will also house a credit card reader to allow payment for tickets and a receipt printer to dispense flight confirmations. Kiosks are slated for early summer delivery to airports around the country.
