Further positioning itself to become a leading provider of Oracle-based
ASP solutions, Interliant, Inc. (Purchase, N.Y.) has acquired
Interactive Software, Inc. and Milestone Services, Inc., two Dallas-
based companies offering Oracle services to the private, public, and
non-profit sectors.
By acquiring these two Oracle-based companies, Interliant is in the
process of assembling one of the ASP industry's largest teams dedicated
to providing knowledge and implementation on Oracle platforms.

* AMR PREDICTS ASP MARKET WILL REACH $4.7 BILLION BY 2004
Despite its relatively slow growth rate to date, leading analyst firms
remain keen on the ASP market. The latest to throw its weight behind
the future success of the ASP model is AMR Research, Inc. (Boston),
which predicts that the Enterprise Application Service Provider (ASP)
market will reach $4.7 billion by 2004, with a compound annual growth
rate of 153 percent.
In its latest research, entitled, "Report on Enterprise Applications,"
AMR says the strongest growth rate in the ASP market will occur in the
following categories: e-business relationship management, hosted
business applications, small business applications, and trading
exchanges, enterprise asset management, and product life cycle
management.
