KIOSKS UNITE EMPLOYEES AT BELL HELICOPTER
BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Kiosk Information Systems (KIS) recently produced 25
kiosks to bridge the gap between office and shop floor employees at Bell
Helicopter, a Texas-based helicopter manufacturer. The kiosks provide all
7,000 employees access to the company portal, MyBellHelicopter.com, which
provides Bell news, company policies and procedures, internal employment
opportunities, benefits and wellness information, training applications,
online pay stubs and direct deposit updates, hazardous material
information, government compliance standards, and more.
Prior to the deployment of kiosks, shop floor employees depended upon
paper-based and word-of-mouth systems to remain abreast of company events,
keep track of time spent on projects, and communicate with office staff.
