Olea Exhibits/Displays Inc. changes company name to Olea Kiosks Inc.

New name for Olea as fixtures and exhibits finally go by the wayside. New website has new lineup for 2010 and looks good. Also new kiosk with finished look from back. There has been more and more projects with dual-sided kiosks as well.

Olea Exhibits/Displays Inc. today announced that it has filed documents with the State of California to change its name to Olea Kiosks Inc. The name change reflects the Los Angeles-based company's gradual move out of the tradeshow and exhibits market.

“We haven’t built an exhibit in two years so it was beyond time to change the name to reflect that,” said Frank Olea, CEO of Olea Kiosks, in a press release today.

To celebrate the name change, Olea has launched a brand new web-site: www.olea.com. The site provides information on Olea Kiosk’s 2010 models, custom products, design services, and installation and maintenance services.

In addition to the new site, Olea announced the addition of the SoHo kiosk to its 2010 model lineup. Unlike traditional kiosks, the SoHo is designed to be attractive from the back side as from the front side. “When we were designing the SoHo we knew the form factor wasn’t new but we did know we could improve on its functionality for the client,” said Olea.

The SoHo fetures a design that eliminates or hides cooling vents, fan grates, speaker grills, locks and other hardware.
