Company News - MEI Safes and BNR get more resources

West Chester, PA June 1, 2010 -- MEI is committed to providing its customers with the best customer service possible. To that end, it has dedicated resources to grow the Retail Safe and Self Check-out markets.

Starting in late June, Mark Greenawalt will become the Global Director of Retail Safes and Cash Management. In this role, Mark and his team will be defining the strategies to drive the adoption rate of intelligent safes. Greenawalt started with MEI in 2005 when it entered the Gaming market and assisted in the growth of the CASHFLOW SC product. Three and a half years ago he relocated to the MEI office in the UK and continued to grow the Gaming and Retail channels in Europe and Africa. With his new role, Greenawalt will relocate to MEI’s headquarters in West Chester, PA.

Additionally, Sean Carlin has become the Global Director - Strategic Accounts & SCOT. Carlin has been with MEI for over 24 years and has demonstrated leadership as MEI entered into the Americas Retail Space. His knowledge of the market will allow MEI to further develop its recycling strategy with the MEI BNR (Bank Note Recycler).

These organizational changes will allow MEI to better serve its customers and to increase its global footprint in the Retail channel.
