REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1998--IBM has selected EMF Corporation's Integra2000 kiosk to enhance its off-the-shelf kiosk offerings. The Integra2000 was chosen by IBM as one of several offerings in its product line because of the product's quality, engineering, design and serviceability. In addition to the Integra2000 OEM relationship, IBM will use EMF for custom kiosk development. IBM will market the EMF products through its Product Support Services Organization. "We chose the Integra2000 because of its commercial quality and easy operation and maintenance," said Nick Maneri, IBM National Sales Manager, Product Support Services. "We also looked for a company that would meet our exacting requirements in design, manufacturing and ongoing support." IBM will offer the EMF Integra2000 with standard features, as well as customized versions to meet unique customer needs. Standard features include a 17-inch touchmonitor, powerful Pentium computer running Windows 95, CD player, sound card and speakers. Options include credit card and barcode readers, receipt and voucher printers, network cards, modem, laser printer, video conferencing capabilities and Windows NT technology. The Integra2000 meets rigid quality and safety standards including UL, C-UL, FCC and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) wheelchair guidelines.
