Radiant Systems, Inc. Announces Agreement with Pizza Hut Franchisees for RapidFire POS Installation

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1998--Radiant Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RADS - news), a leading provider of integrated technology solutions to retailers worldwide, announced that after successful pilot testing, Chisholm Enterprises, Inc., Rage Inc., and Restaurant Management Co., have agreed to aggressively pursue rollout plans of the RapidFire point-of-sale system in 130 of their Pizza Hut stores.

This rollout is scheduled to begin September 26 with 88 locations expected to be installed in the next twelve months.

The RapidFire point-of-sale system, a leading choice for pizza and delivery operators, uses touch-screen technology to eliminate inaccurate handwritten tickets, reduce theft and improve cash control. The delivery dispatch system provides timely and accurate deliveries. RapidFire's database capabilities help to personalize customer service both in the store and on the phone and provide for innovative targeted marketing capabilities. End-of-day reports provide owners and managers tighter control over the day-to-day functions in their restaurant.
