     County Jail Expands Order to 5 Intelli-Site NT Workstations

 IRVING, Texas, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Security Systems, Inc. (OTC 
Bulletin Board: IZZI) announced today that it has delivered the first Intelli-
Site(R) NT workstation for the Adult Detention Center in Taylor County, Texas 
under a previously disclosed contract agreement.  The Company also announced 
that the county has ordered three additional Intelli-Site NT touchscreen 
workstations to supplement the two originally ordered, replacing three 
previously specified control panels based on older technology using hard-wired 
switches and lights.

Intelli-Site NT will be providing functional control for a variety of security 
sub-systems including intercom, door control, lighting, paging, and closed 
circuit television surveillance (CCTV) devices. When completed, the entire 
facility will be controlled by Intelli-Site configured with redundant back-up 
through two server-workstations and supporting officer control operations 
through three additional workstations.  With the replacement of the control 
panels, control of the facility will be standardized on Intelli-Site, greatly 
simplifying officer training and operation.
