( BW)(TX-CARROLL-TOUCH) Carroll Touch Expands Resistive Product Line Offering With 8.2", 8.4" and 18.1" Touchscreens

    ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 20, 1999--Carroll Touch, a leading manufacturer of build to order touchscreens and operator interface equipment, announced the expansion of the company's resistive product line with the addition of three new touchscreens in 8.2", 8.4" and 18.1" diagonal sizes.
    The new touchscreens employ the industry leading four-wire resistive technology and expand the current product offering ranging from 4.7" to 15" diagonal sizes. The 8.2" touchscreen is compatible with Hitachi's SX21V001 6-bit LCD display and is priced at $69 in 100-piece quantities. The 8.4" touchscreen is compatible with Sharp's LQ9D340 and LQ084V1DG21 displays and is priced at $62 in 100-piece quantities. The 18.1" touchscreen is compatible with Sharp's LQ 181E1DG01 TFT display as well as other displays with compatible active areas and is priced at $169 in 100-piece quantities.
    All three of the new touchscreens are currently available and are shipped with software drivers for all popular graphical user interfaces. Interface control drawings containing active area and overall area dimensions for all Carroll Touch resistive sensors can be found on the company's Web site.
