Buying Marcus Movie Tickets Made Easier; New Telephone Ticketing System Announced for Milwaukee Area

MILWAUKEE (BUSINESS WIRE) - Marcus Theatres Corporation, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE:MCS), today announced that beginning May 7, buying Marcus movie tickets can be as easy as a quick and simple phone call to the Marcus Movie Hitline -- (414) 291-FILM (3456). Linking theatres by satellite, Marcus Theatres' new automated telephone ticketing system will be another way for moviegoers to buy tickets to any of 12 first-run Marcus Theatres in the Metropolitan Milwaukee area.

"Buying tickets for a movie at Marcus Theatres has never been easier. One short call to 291-FILM and our guests will be able to buy tickets to their favorite Marcus Theatre in the Milwaukee area. Our new system will allow moviegoers to start buying tickets for the most eagerly anticipated film of all time -- Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace -- on May 12 at 2:00 p.m. It's quick and convenient. Moviegoers can pick up their tickets at the theatre box-office, or at kiosks located in the outer lobby of select theatres," said Bruce J. Olson, president of Marcus Theatres Corporation.

The new system enhances the company's popular showtime information line, 291-FILM. With one call, Marcus customers can easily and quickly see what's playing at Marcus Theatres, check prices and use their credit card to buy movie tickets, including advance ticket sales, for any of the 12 Milwaukee area locations offering telephone ticketing. Movie showtimes for all Milwaukee area Marcus Theatres, even those not offering tickets by phone, are available by calling 291-FILM.

Tickets by phone will be available for the West Point Luxury Cinema, Brookfield; Hillside Cinema, Delafield; Marcus Cinema, Menomonee Falls; North Shore Cinema, Mequon; Northtown Cinema, Prospect Mall Cinema, Skyway Cinema, Southgate Cinema, Southtown Cinema, Milwaukee; Ridge Cinema, New Berlin; South Shore Cinema, Oak Creek; and Westown Cinema, Waukesha (featuring the 75-foot wide UltraScreen).

Automated ticket kiosks will be available at Hillside Cinema, Delafield; Marcus Cinema, Menomonee Falls; North Shore Cinema, Mequon; Ridge Cinema, New Berlin; South Shore Cinema, Oak Creek; West Point Cinema, Brookfield; and Westown Cinema, Waukesha.
