Go Online Networks Corporation Announces Hiring of Director of Sales & Marketing for Internet Kiosk Division

Go Online Networks Corporation Promotes Co-Founder Matthew Herman to Vice President of Technical Support Services for ShopGoOnline.com

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1999-- Joe Naughton, Chairman of Go Online Networks Corporation. (OTCBB:GONT - news), announced today the hiring of Mike Price as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Internet Kiosk Division of Go Online Networks Corporation. ShopGoOnline.com also announced today the promotion of Matthew Herman to Vice President of Technical Support Services.

Mike Price comes to Go Online Networks Corporation from iCom Network, Inc. where he was a founding member and Vice President of Customer Support. He brings with him over 10 years of National Sales and Customer Support experience.

Mr. Price was the first employee of iCom and was responsible for numerous tasks, including sales, support, marketing, R&D and kiosk design and implementation. He brings with him extensive knowledge of the hospitality and public access industry. Mr. Price will work out of the corporate headquarters and report directly to the Chairman, Joseph Naughton.

``Mike's responsibilities include fast tracking Internet Kiosk deployment and the rapid implementation of the marketing plan previously laid out in our business plan,'' said Mr. Naughton.

Mr. Price has numerous contacts and affiliations in the kiosk industry. He will be handling most aspects of the day-to-day operation of the GoOn-line Kiosk Division. Mr. Price brings to Go Online Networks Corporation his enthusiasm and dedication to Customer Satisfaction.

Matthew Herman has been serving as the company's technical professional, managing the GoOn-line.com server and Internet connectivity. Mr. Herman has over 10 years in Local Area and Wide Area Network management and design, and has even more experience in managing and maintaining servers that reside on a variety of platforms such as Microsoft NT/95/98, Novel 3.x/4.x/5.x, Linux and UNIX. In addition, he has programming experience that includes HTML, Perl, and C that will contribute to the design of the Web site. Mr. Herman also received his Master's from California State University, Chico, in 1995. Under the direction of Matthew Herman, the technical staff for ShopGoOnline.com has recently tripled.
