MethodFactory Chooses Netkey to Create Sweepstakes Kiosks at Miami International Boat Show
Leading Integrator Uses Netkey and MethodFactory Dynamic Media Server to Power Self-Service Systems for Show Attendees at Nation�s Largest Boat Show
MIAMI � Feb. 14, 2002 � Netkey, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise solutions for self-service systems, today announced that MethodFactory, a technology solutions firm, is using Netkey software and MethodFactory�s Dynamic Media Server to power kiosks at the Miami International Boat Show, Feb. 14-19, in booth number 3939 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Headquartered in Sarasota, Fla., MethodFactory developed six Web-enabled kiosks that will reach as many as 150,000 prospective boat buyers over six days at the show. The kiosks are the focal point of a dynamic 20-foot by 20-foot tradeshow booth, designed to introduce a new entry into the recreational boating market � MariSafe, a Sarasota-based boating accessories specialty retailer and service provider. The company is distributing promotional sweepstakes cards to boat show visitors, which include a wide range of product and service prizes.
The kiosks enable visitors to check distributed sweepstakes prize codes, register for the MariSafe service, and access MariSafe�s many Web-based marine services. MariSafe delivers via the Web the resources, information, tools, services and merchandise boaters need and can call upon to make their on-water experiences better and safer. MethodFactory used Netkey software to develop the kiosk user interface, and to provide device security. MethodFactory used its Dynamic Media Server to manage kiosk synchronization and registration submissions for MariSafe�s web-based marine services.
