Top Scandinavian Technology Firm Pulsen Selects Netkey as Kiosk Development Platform; Becomes Netkey Reseller

ORLANDO, Fla. March 5, 2002 -- Netkey, Inc. announced today the addition of Pulsen, one of Sweden's oldest IT companies and IBM's (NYSE: IBM) first Scandinavian partner, to the Netkey Reseller program. Pulsen will distribute Netkey software in Nordic countries and also develop self-service applications for clients using the Netkey platform. The announcement was made at the KioskCom 2002 Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, where Netkey is a sponsor.

According to Jupiter Research, the number of kiosk users will increase from 34 million in 2001 to 91 million in 2006. Responding to this global need, Netkey has created the largest worldwide reseller and developer network for kiosk software solutions in the industry, with more than 35 partners covering 44 countries.

Pulsen (www.pulsen.se) has already developed several successful applications on the Netkey platform, including a ticketing project for one of the top entertainment firms in Sweden. We are pleased to become a member of the Netkey Reseller program, said Magnus Rodell, managing director of Pulsen Integration. They have impressed us with their expertise in providing self-service solutions and their software has clearly demonstrated its reliability and flexibility. Designated IBM StoreProven, Netkey software was the natural choice for us as a leading IBM partner.

Rodell added: The Netkey platform fits very nicely into Pulsens offerings. Existing customers such as retailers, banks and manufacturing companies have shown great interest in the product, so we expect to see several interesting projects taking off during the year.

The global market for self-service technology is growing, and were proud that an established technology leader such as Pulsen has selected Netkey as its kiosk software platform, said Alex Richardson, president and CEO of Netkey. Netkey software is recognized as the worldwide standard for mission-critical self-service applications that increase sales for retailers and banks.
