Kiosks.Org: Membership reaches 100 companies; New Clicks N Mortar section coming; Best of KioskCom Awards; Real-time Credit Card Gateway; new report Design Tips for Kiosks;

Kiosks.Org (http://www.kiosks.org), an organization of self-service technology companies announced today that formal membership in the alliance has reached 100 companies. Member companies range from the United States, Australia, Iceland, and Europe. Members include Apple, IBM Canada and Symbol Technology. In other news:

- In July, a new section devoted to Clicks and Mortar is being released. Case studies in how companies are utilizing self-service kiosk technology will be available.

- Kiosks.Org recently awarded "Best of Show" Awards for KioskCom 2000 held in Las Vegas. Winners included WebWedge from Data Vision, Deep Video, Kiosk Software Inc, Apunix and Hemisphere West.

- Just announced on Kiosks.Org June 9 is the availability of new real-time credit card gateway service available to internet kiosk vendors.

- Summit Research announced today on Kiosks.Org the availability of a new research report on design considerations for Internet Kiosks. Report is authored by Francie Mendelsohn, noted industry watcher.
