Your-Box Kiosk Now In Public Test Phase
AXCess Computers, Inc., located at 2919 Commerce Park Drive in Fitchburg, WI was tasked by The Nesnah Group, LaCrosse, WI in May of 2000 to computerize a shipping Kiosk called "Your-Box".
On June 11, 2001 the kiosk was considered functioning in the "public eye". With internet based technology, AXCess Computers, Inc. Data and Help center can monitor live video feed, data transactions, and parcel delivery/pickups. During the week of July 1st, Your Box will hold a press conference, live radio feed, and "give aways", to officially "kick-off" the prototype. Our intent is to sign-up test users with free shipping, and gifts to the lockers to motivate the users to use the system. If successful, Your-Box intends to launch 20 more kiosks in the Madison area by the end of summer.
Your-Box, when in full production, is estimated to save the shipping industry over 20 billion dollars a year. We hope to complete the first public test within the next couple of months. If successful, 20 more units will be rolled out in the Madison area for a larger scale test.
