Global Consumer Technologies Inc. Signs Agreement with ESAR Information Technologies Inc.
Edmonton, Alberta (May 7, 2001) - Global Consumer Technologies Inc. (CDNX: GCT) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic alliance partnership agreement with ESAR Information Technologies Inc. (ESAR) The agreement was signed today in Edmonton, Alberta. ESAR will provide access and use of its proprietary kiosk technologies, applications and services to GCT; and GCT will provide its Smart Card technology, applications and services to ESAR.
"Smart Card Technology is long overdue in North America when compared to Europe and we at ESAR are pleased to partner with GCT who has made the bold step in incorporating this technology in their products. By partnering with GCT, ESAR Kiosks will be a gateway to the online financial and payment transactions anytime anywhere. ESAR has exciting plans to develop a new breed of Interactive Kiosks which will ultimately make the consumer's life easy by reducing the hassle of conventional transactions," stated Upali Pathirana, President and CTO of ESAR Information Technologies.
