21.3" LCD Flat Panel Touch Screen Display

Fallbrook, CA - Touch Controls, Inc. introduces the first Ultra SVGA 21.3" Flat Panel Touch Screen Display. Touch Controls' High Resolution and Multi-Sync FTD 21 Series Touch Screen Display provides a powerful Human Machine Interface. With completely sealed bezels, and immunity to surface cuts, scratches, gouges and wear, they offer continuous reliable performance in the most demanding environments.

For more than a decade, touch screen displays featuring Touch Controls' patented EnhancedInfraredTM technology, have provided dependable, easy-to-use operator interface for the most demanding applications. Ranging from process control in NEMA 4X hose-down plants, to continuous operation Class I/Division I and II hazardous atmospheres, to indoor and outdoor unattended public kiosks. Touch Controls offers a comprehensive five-year warranty on the functionality of the touch screen regards of cuts, gauges or wear to the touch surface.

The FTD 21 Series is available in a panel-mount, bench-top, and enclosure-mounted configuration. Choose a powder-coated or stainless steel bezel, sealed to meet NEMA 12, 4 or 4X requirements, or an enclosure to meet your needs. The units can be operated by a gloved or bare hand, or pointing stylus. The FTD 21 has a native 1600 x 1200 pixel format and delivers ultra sharp, high-resolution graphics on a bright (200 cd/m2) industrial 21.3" Active Matrix TFT LCD display. This "plug and play" unit syncs at 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1024x768, 800x600, and 640x480 with full screen display. This unit can also be drive with fiber-optic cable and accepts composite video, such as that generated by a DVD player or cable television.
