TouchSystems Announces Apollo Open- A new, Open Chassis Touch lcd targeted for kiosk, gaming, and industrial enclosures

Round Rock, Texas - October 25, 2001 - TouchSystems today announced the release of Apollo Open, an advanced, open frame TFT touch LCD. Apollo Open integrates several key technology advances, including: 25% brighter display, 40% faster video response time than industry average. The new open chassis LCD, targeted for Kiosk, Gaming, and industrial enclosures, is perfect for any space-conscious application that requires custom integration.
Adding open frame LCDs to TouchSystems' Apollo monitor series is just one way that the company helps ease custom integration for their customers. "Although we already offer all-in-one open chassis systems, we're seeing a wide variety of growing market applications that find open frame monitors to be the preferred solution", stated Kevin Wade, Vice President of New Product Development.
Now available in both 12" and 15" sizes, the 17" Apollo Open LCD, featuring Super-XGA, will be launched at Comdex Fall 2001 in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 12, 2001.
