Netkey Announces First Enterprise Kiosk Software Package
Supporting Microsoft Windows XP
BRANFORD, Conn. � Dec. 17, 2001 � Netkey, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise solutions for self-service kiosks and other customer-facing devices, today announced that its Netkey Creator 5.5 kiosk application authoring software suite has been tested and certified by Netkey to run on the Microsoft Windows XP computer operating system.
Netkey Creator is the most widely used authoring suite for the design and operation of Web kiosk applications used for sales, marketing and customer service. With this certification, retailers, banks and other businesses can now use Netkey Creator 5.5 with the confidence that it is fully compatible with Microsoft�s newest operating system. Windows XP was launched in October and comes installed on most new computers. Netkey Creator now supports the complete range of Microsoft�s Windows operating systems: Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows Me, and Windows 98, along with Microsoft�s current browsers, Internet Explorer 6 and 5.
