ATLANTA, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- At Chart House Restaurants, a hospitality point-of-service (POS) system from NCR Corporation, with restaurant management software from NCR retail solution provider Hospitality Solutions International (HSI), is helping make each diner's experience even more relaxing and enjoyable.

Chicago-based Chart House has installed the NCR 7454 Hospitality POS System with HSI POS Point-of-Sale application software at each of its more than 50 restaurants nationwide. The solution includes the NCR 7454 touch screen workstation plus NCR customer support services, peripherals and personal computers.

The investment by Chart House was part of the company's long term, system- wide revitalization strategy.

The NCR 7454 Hospitality POS System was designed by NCR to meet the business needs of quick service and fine dining establishments, combining POS functionality, security and an advanced user interface with the flexibility of full motion video in a small footprint. The NCR 7454 system runs the Microsoft® Windows® NT 4.0 operating system and supports Windows-based applications.
