Elo TouchSystems Announces New Entuitive 1725L 17" LCD Touchmonitor for Desktop Application

Fremont, California-August 9, 2001-Elo TouchSystems, Inc., the global leader in touch technology and a unit of Tyco Electronics, today announces its new Entuitive 1725L 17" LCD desktop touchmonitor, developed to provide solutions in the retail, medical and light industrial markets, as well as many others. The cost-effective 17" form factor rivals the on-screen information display of an 18" monitor while maintaining a much more affordable price point. Elo's Entuitive 1725L LCD touchmonitor is available worldwide and meets multiple standards, including UL, cUL, FCC, CE and T�V-GS. Elo makes the new 1725L available with a choice of Elo touch technologies: either AccuTouch five-wire resistive or IntelliTouch surface-wave.
