SMO Multimedia To Deploy units with Security And Safety Features For Airport Kiosks

September 25, 2001 Everson WA// SMO Multimedia (Pink Sheets: SKLK) will immediately devise security features for the multimedia kiosks in response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. SMO had been in discussions with several airline executives to deploy the kiosk units in major international airports when the terrorist attacks occurred.

Included already in the kiosks' design are plasma display screens for advertising. SMO at the very minimum will dedicate 2 of the high-resolution screens which will now provide safety information, evacuation locations, new airport security rules and other pertinent message information as relayed by the airport authorities. SMO has recently received much press for its innovative way of tying in many technologies into one multi purpose Kiosk, and will use this expertise to assist Government agencies and airports for their needs.

SMO is rescheduling the much anticipated meeting at JFK and will report when a firm date has been established. It is anticipated that some of the new security features will be implemented at that time.

"This tragedy has affected everyone in the United States and at SMO, we want to do our part in supporting and promoting security in our Country." Said Robert Pratt, CEO of SMO Multimedia. "We plan to work closely with airline and airport executives, federal agencies and security offices to incorporate into our kiosks any tools or technology that could be useful in deterring further terrorist attacks and providing public service announcements to passengers. Seeing first hand the devastation is something I will never forget and we are committed to doing our part. This attack has changed the way we all do business and we are changing ours. Our prayers are with all the families and rescue personnel affected by this devastating event."
